Detox & Cleanse Juice

My Recovery Juice:
Detox & Cleanse
Made with all natural ingredients
Sometimes, we over indulge on the things we know we shouldn't such as alcohol, fatty foods, sweets and so on. My recovery juice is a healthy mix of fruits and vegetables that will help stimulate your liver, cleanse your digestive track, and is loaded with antioxidants to fight free radicals.

Ingredients: (1 Serving)
  • 1 beet chopped into small cubes
  • 1 pear chopped into small cubes
  • 1/2 cup of fresh spinach
  • Handful of blueberries
  • A few ice cubs
  • 1/4 cup of water
Combine & blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Serve and enjoy!

This juice may seem like a weird mixture but its actually pretty tasty! The healthiness of this juice makes it totally worth it!

Why is this juice a healthy detox?

Beets are extremely good for you and, not to mention fat free with very few calories.
    • Juicing-for-health.com lists detoxification as on of the major benefits of beets: Detoxification: The choline from this wonderful juice detoxifies not only the liver, but also the entire system of excessive alcohol abuse, provided consumption is ceased.
Because you're using raw beets in the juice you will retain all of the great nutritional value of the vegetable. The beet juice will help stimulate your liver as well as detox and cleanse your digestive track. Beets also have a significant amount of vitamin-C, one of the powerful natural antioxidant, which helps body find and collect the harmful free radicals (one of the reasons for cancers development).  Read more about beets here

The spinach & blueberries in the juice are both also a great source of Vitamins A and C with powerful antioxidants that eliminate free radicals. Pears are also a source of Vitamin C as well as a source of fiber.

Overall this health packed juice is really easy to make and a great way to detox from overindulgences of this past holiday season.  Enjoy and as always please submit any questions, comments or other feedback.  If you decide to try it let me know how it goes and what you think!
